Why can't I book a grooming appointment online?

Each dog’s grooming needs are unique to not only each breed but for each owner. Discussing your grooming expectations either over the phone or in person ensures that your expections are communicated and understood making your grooming appointment the best it can be.

What do I need to bring to my first appointment?

Please bring proof of your pet’s up to date rabies vaccination, and a completed liability form which can be filled out online or in person at your appointment.

Can I bring my own shampoo?

Unless it is a veterinarian prescribed shampoo, we prefer to use the products we provide at our salon. They have all been selected for quality and specifically formulated for the highest quality.

Can I bring more than one dog at a time?

Yes. We usually have multiple bathers staffed at the same time to accommodate this. In instances where multiple dogs are booked with one bather, extra time may be needed. As for self serve appointments, one dog can hang out in our “holding suite” so you can comfortably wash one dog at a time.

What is the process?

We are a by-appointment salon. When you drop your pet off they are serviced right away, and when they are finished you can pick them up right away.

How long will it take?

This varies depending on the size of dog and services being provided. Upon dropoff, we will be able to assess your pet and give you a good estimate for time of pickup.

What does dremmeling do versus just trimming the nails?

Dremmeling the nails will get them closer to the quick and will smooth them to remove all the sharp edges.

What is the difference between self serve basic/spa and full service?

My dog can be fearful or aggressive, can you still take them?

Slight aggression and anxiety can often be handled, however severely aggressive or fearful dogs often do better in a vet environment where they can be given calming medicine or have multiple hands to help comfort.

When would my dog require a blowout?

Dogs who are double coated can become overly packed with undercoat in between grooming appointments. In order to get a quality bath where the shampoo is fully reaching to the skin and getting the dog clean, this excess dead undercoat will need to be removed prior to the bath with a high velocity dryer.
